Semper Reformanda Records is a Christian worship label whose focus is on providing the church with music that is Biblically sound and God-centered; utilizing the great traditions of the past while forging new artistic ground for the present and beyond. Semper Reformanda comes from the Latin phrase taken from the reformation, meaning always reforming. It expresses the importance of continually submitting our worship and lives under the microscope of Scripture.We believe that our theology and doxology go hand-in-hand.

Semper Reformanda artists represent various streams of the Protestant faith, and therefore, each artist seeks to build upon and interact with hymns and liturgies that are best suited to their own context. We recognize that music is a powerful gift of God, and one of many elements of worship that should undergird the preached Word. Our desire is to build a roster of like-minded musicians to impact the church and watching world by writing and recording creative music for public and private worship that will both challenge and inspire congregations to praise the God from whom all blessings flow. We hope this site will provide valuable resources for ministers of music.

The musicians involved with Semper Reformanda write and record music for the people of God to worship in song and have agreed to share all of their music with anyone that desires to use it for public worship. Tailor the songs to fit your context as deemed appropriate. We just ask that you give credit where credit is due. And if you plan on re-recording anything from SRR, please contact us first for permissions as all songs are copyrighted by the artists that wrote them.

If you are a minister of music, a church band, or singer/songwriter that is intimately involved in leading a congregation in worship and interested in partnering with us, please contact us. We are a small grassroots label that desires to come alongside church music ministries that are already writing, recording and performing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to the glory of their creator. We only desire to work w/ local church ministries. The idea of being a "worship superstar" is sort of ridiculous to us, so we're not interesed in CCM radio hits, Dove awards, or renting your band an econoline van so you can hit the "worship" circuit in the hopes of getting on the next WOW CD. If that's your thing, there are plenty of  big labels that have actual budgets, A&R, and experience with all of that. If you need help setting up your own label, distribution, or just want some advice, just email. No one's going to get rich in the independent worship market. We just do this in our spare time because its fun and a lot of congregations are not blessed with songwriters and recording engineers.
