EKKLESIA 360 - Pimp Your Church Website

My friend and pastor Drew Goodmanson runs a company that provides website CMS and design for the local church called Ekklesia 360. Your online presence is often the first contact a visitor will have with your church. And as an old pastor of mine used to say, "Everything preaches something!" This inlcudes your church website. Why do I mention this to an audience primarily concerned with church music? Because as a church artist, you should be concerned about the aesthetics of your church: your sanctuaries, the visuals in your service, and of course...your website, too. I personally do not possess the technical skillz to pay the bills, but I have opinions on the kind of graphics, ease of use, content and what kind of message my church's website is giving off, and I share these ideas with Kaleo's geek squad - uh - I mean technical staff. A church website, like a worship service, attempts to marry content (sermons, articles, mission, vision and calendar) with aesthetics (music, art and graphic design). What your website provides and how it looks will say a lot about your organization.

If you think your web presence needs a little pimping, please check-out Ekklesia 360. The guys involved behind the scenes all serve in their respective churches across the nation and have a lot of experience not only in software development and design, but also in attracting visitors, church education and membership, worship, podcasting, etc. The packages they provide can be tailored financially for both small and very large churches or organizations. Additionally, their content management system (once implemented) is very easy to use, which means that you will not have to pay Steve Jobs to come and update your site on a weekly basis. Pretty much anyone can use it with very little training, making it easier for those churches that don't have a lot of nerds, uh, I mean brothers and sisters with technical giftedness :)      - Peace.
